Phonebook (talking in circles) (2008)

My first sewn book, this is a two-fold binding, or dos-a-dos. There are two covers and no back; once the pages are flipped through on one end, the cover flips and the pages continue on another folio. As a design study, I wanted to have one continuous line fill the pages. Making the line be the 'phone chord' and depicting simplistic 'phones' on each cover, I hoped to add interest to the book as a whole.
